INGREDIENTS:

  • Real Eggs:
  • White chocolate, melted
  • Vanilla pudding
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Golden Eggs:
  • Dark chocolate, melted
  • Edible gold leaf
  • Edible golden glitter
  • Candy-Filled Eggs:
  • Dark chocolate, melted
  • White chocolate, melted
  • Candy or your desired fillings
  • Rainbow Eggs:
  • Pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple candy melts, melted

  • METHOD:

    Real Eggs:

Spread some melted white chocolate onto the insides of an egg-shaped chocolate mold.
Place the mold in the freezer until the chocolate has fully set.

    Unmold the eggs.
Dye 1/3 of the pudding yellow.
Fill half of the egg halves with the white pudding, and add a dollop of yellow pudding, to look like the egg yolk.

Spread some more melted white chocolate along the rims of the filled egg halves and place the empty halves on top.

Return the eggs to the freezer until the chocolate has set.
Then crack your egg open to reveal an eggy, pudding center!

    Golden Eggs:

Spread some melted dark chocolate onto the insides of an egg-shaped chocolate mold.
Place the mold in the freezer until the chocolate has fully set.

    Unmold the eggs.
Slightly dampen a small paintbrush in some water and dip it into the gold leaf.
Place on the egg halves, either completely covering the eggs, or leaving some spaces to make it appear cracked.

Fill half of the egg halves with golden glitter, then spread some melted dark chocolate along the rims.
Place the remaining egg halves on top, then return the eggs to the freezer until the chocolate has set.
Crack your golden eggs open to reveal even more gold!

    Candy-Filled Eggs:

Spread some melted dark chocolate onto the insides of an egg-shaped chocolate mold.
Place the mold in the freezer until the chocolate has fully set.

    Unmold the eggs.
Place them on a place and drizzle some white chocolate on top.
Return to the freezer for the chocolate to set.

Fill half of the egg halve with candies (or if you want to be cruel, vegetables) and seal 2 halves together with some more melted dark chocolate.
Chill in the freezer until the chocolate has set and enjoy!

    Rainbow Eggs:

Coat the insides of an egg-shaped chocolate mold in a thin layer with the pink candy melts.
Place in the freezer until the candy melts have set, about 5-10 minutes.
Repeat with the remaining candy melts in the color of the rainbow, freezing between each layer.

Spread more pink candy melts over the surface of the eggs, to seal in the colors.
Place in the freezer until set.

Unmold the eggs, then slice in half to reveal a rainbow!
